Agenda

해당 대지는 남쪽으로 2m 경사가 있어 채광과 조망을 고려하다보면 경사를 제대로 활용하기 어려운 상황이었다. 이에 현관을 진입로보다 2m 높은 위치에 두고 스탠드형 계단과 강당이라는 특수한 공간을 이용하였다. 각각 다른 성질의 외부공간들, 외부와 내부가 순환하며 연결되는 동선 사이에서 선생님과 아이들에게 풍부한 경험을 남겨주고 싶었다.
외부 형태는 곡선으로 두어 어린 아이들의 창의력을 자극하고, 평면 구성은 직각으로 두어 아이들의 안전을 확보하였다.

The site features a 2 meters slope toward the south, making it challenging to fully utilize the terrain while considering lighting and views. To address this, the entrance was placed 2 meters higher than the access road, incorporating a stand-style staircase and the unique space of the auditorium.
By creating external spaces with distinct characteristics and designing circulation that seamlessly connects the interior and exterior, the goal was to provide teachers and children with diverse and enriching experiences.
The exterior form was designed with curves to inspire children’s creativity, while the floor plan was structured with right angles to ensure their safety.

Concept

외부공간이라도 같은 목적을 가진 것이 아닌, 위치와 용도에 따라 다른 성질의 외부공간을 구성하였다.
2m 레벨 차이를 해결하기 위해, 상대적으로 채광의 영향을 적게 받아도 상관없으며 충분한 층고가 필요한 강당 공간을 이용하였다.
외부공간과 내부공간이 유기적으로 연결되며 순환하는 동선을 유도하였다.

Even external spaces were designed with different characteristics based on their location and purpose, rather than having a uniform function.
To address the 2-meter level difference, the auditorium—a space that requires sufficient ceiling height and is less affected by lighting—was strategically utilized.
The design encourages organic connections between external and internal spaces, creating a seamless and dynamic circulation flow.

홀 및 학습실과 이어진 외부공간은 단순히 바깥공간이 아니라 공용공간과 학습이란 목적에서 확장되어 야외 학습실과 같은 방향으로 활용될 수 있다.
각각의 외부공간이 다른 분위기를 연출하여 이용될 수 있는 방향과 목적성이 다르다.

The external spaces connected to the hall and learning rooms are not merely outdoor areas; they extend the functions of shared spaces and learning environments, serving as outdoor classrooms.
Each external space creates a distinct atmosphere, offering diverse directions and purposes for its use.
